On 1 November, DaChan Bay Terminals welcomed the Far East - India - Mediterranean service (FIM) operated by HMM Co., Ltd. (HMM), enhancing DaChan Bay Terminals’ Mediterranean network.

FIM is operated by HMM independently and aims at providing more comprehensive transportation options and a more reliable service for customers.

As the port of choice in South China on the FIM eastbound service, DaChan Bay Terminals  not only enhances connection for import cargoes from the Mediterranean, Red Sea, India and Pakistan, but also provides quick access for exports to Korea.

DaChan Bay Terminals Managing Director Brian Yeung said: “HMM is an important partner for DaChan Bay Terminals and we have a long-standing cooperation for over 13 years. I believe FIM will bring enhanced service experience to customers and support both our businesses to grow further.”

Twelve vessels are deployed in the FIM service which calls DaChan Bay Terminals every Tuesday with a port rotation of Genoa - Valencia - Barcelona - Piraeus - Damietta - Jeddah - Karachi - Mundra - Nhava Sheva - Kattupalli - Singapore - DaChan Bay - Busan - Kwangyang - Shanghai - Ningbo - Shekou - Singapore - Port Klang - Kattupalli - Nhava Sheva - Mundra - Karachi - Jeddah - Damietta - Piraeus - Genoa.
