Modern Terminals is committed to sustainability. As part of our Sustainability Strategy, we are to adopt Green Finance and we have recently secured our first sustainability linked loan with specific decarbonisation targets set for the next few years. We are proud to receive the “Outstanding Award for Green and Sustainable Loan Issuer (Port & Logistics Industry)  - Visionary Sustainability-linked Loan Performance Metrics” in the Hong Kong Green and Sustainable Finance Awards 2021 organised by the HKQAA.

Our Group Managing Director Horace Lo and Chief Financial Officer Vivian Tso were also presented with the Leadership Award and Strategist Award respectively to recognise their efforts in green and sustainable finance development at the HKQAA Symposium on 3 December.

In addition, our Company has been awarded the Certificate of Excellence (Large Organisations category) in the Hong Kong Sustainability Award 2020/21 organised by the Hong Kong Management Association in recognition of our commitment to and performance in sustainability. . Our Group Managing Director Horace Lo received the Certificate at the Award Presentation Ceremony held at the HKMA 60th+1 Anniversary Celebration on 14 December.
